ELDERBERRY FOR IMMUNE SUPPORT

Sweet’s Syrup combines organic elderberries with raw local honey and spices specifically chosen for their individual properties plus great flavor.

Our ingredient list is short, SWEET, and 100% pronounceable!

What's In Our Syrup

Organic Austrian Elderberries

Sweet's Syrup uses the finest organic elderberries from the Styrian region of Austria. Hippocrates, the Greek Father of Medicine, called elderberry his “medicine chest” for its variety of uses.

Raw Honey

Sweet’s is found in the refrigerator section because our honey is unpasteurized - and that’s intentional. Other elderberry syrups “hot pour” their mixture, destroying the honey’s beneficial live enzymes. Sweet’s holds onto every bit of the goodness in its honey, harvested four times a year across nine North Carolina counties by Charlotte-based Herb’s Honey.

Organic Cinnamon

We use Organic Ceylon Cinnamon, which is finely textured and difficult to find. It’s considered “true cinnamon.”

Organic Ginger

Organic ginger provides sweetness and warmth.

Organic Cloves

Sweet's flavor profile is rounded out with aromatic organic cloves.

Our Story

After a loved one was diagnosed with a chronic illness, Stephanie Rickenbaker got serious about clean living. She reduced her family’s exposure to toxins and learned about boosting health through nutrition.

During this journey, Stephanie developed an organic elderberry syrup.  Her daughter, nicknamed "Sweet," loved the syrup so much that Stephanie named it for her.  In a short time, Sweet's Syrup catapulted from a kitchen creation sold among friends to a household name. Sweet’s is available online and in shops across the Carolinas and Georgia.

Sweet’s Syrup practices environmental stewardship by packaging with recyclable materials and sourcing organic, sustainably farmed ingredients whenever possible.

The Sweet’s team is committed to helping you achieve better health through delicious, organic products delivered with honesty and exceptional customer satisfaction.

your questions answered

I DON’T LIVE IN THE SOUTH! COULD SWEET'S STILL BENEFIT ME?

The honey in Sweet's is collected from bees foraging in the Southeastern U.S.  If you're outside that zone, eat a spoonful of raw honey from your region alongside your daily Sweet's, or consider making a Sweet's DIY Kit using YOUR local honey!

IS SWEET'S SYRUP SAFE FOR ME?

Sweet's contains unpasteurized honey, which can be risky for certain individuals.   Please consult your doctor before consuming Sweet's if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a specific condition such as auto-immune disease.  If you'd like our syrup without honey, pick up a Sweet's DIY Kit!  Sweeten to your liking with agave nectar, erythritol, or Stevia!

HELP! WE HAVE PICKY EATERS.

Give it a fun name: magic syrup, num-num, honey juice, or just Sweet’s Syrup!  One family named it “the good stuff.”  For toddlers, try a medicine syringe, which fits nicely into the pint-sized Sweet’s bottle.  For older children, make Sweet’s special by using a fun shot glass.  Sweet’s is delicious swirled into yogurt, oatmeal, and smoothies.  It also pairs nicely with hot tea or whiskey, for picky eaters of the adult variety.

HOW LONG WILL SWEET'S SYRUP LAST?

Your shipment may arrive at room temperature, and this is OK.  Sweet's has been successfully tested for short-term safety in this range.  Simply get your syrup in the fridge as soon as it arrives.  There is a date sticker on the bottle's bottom.  Unopened, refrigerated bottles are good until that date.  Opened bottles should be consumed within 3 months.  Syrup can also be frozen for longer storage.

AT WHAT AGE CAN I START GIVING MY LITTLE ONE SWEET'S SYRUP?

Children over one year of age can safely consume unpasteurized honey.  Please confirm with your pediatrician.  If you'd like our syrup without honey, try a Sweet's DIY Kit, and sweeten to taste with fruit juices or nectar.  Some little ones like unsweetened syrup stirred into applesauce or fruit puree.
