NATURE MADE THE REMEDY. WE MADE IT SWEET’S.
Sweet's Syrup combines organic elderberries and spices with raw local honey. This blend is specifically chosen for its protective and healing properties, plus great flavor.
After a loved one was diagnosed with cancer, Stephanie Rickenbaker got serious about clean living. She reduced her family’s exposure to toxins, learned about natural remedies and integrative medicine, and embraced the healing power of food. To boost her family’s immunity, Stephanie developed an organic elderberry syrup. Her daughter, nicknamed "Sweet," loved the syrup so much that Stephanie named it for her. In three short years, Sweet's Syrup catapulted from a home remedy sold among friends to a household name. Sweet’s is available online and in shops across the Carolinas and Georgia.
Sweet’s Syrup practices environmental stewardship by packaging with recyclable materials and sourcing organic, sustainably farmed ingredients whenever possible.
The Sweet’s team is committed to helping you achieve better health through delicious, organic products delivered with honesty and exceptional customer satisfaction.
What's In Our Syrup
One of the top medicinal plants in the world, used for millennia for its antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. Hippocrates, the Greek Father of Medicine, called elderberry his “medicine chest” for its variety of healing powers. Elderberries contain bioflavonoids and other proteins that disrupt a virus’ ability to infect cells, along with anthocyanins that boost the immune system. Elderberries provide relief from colds and sinus infections, and can shorten the duration and severity of the flu.
As a health coach, I take great care in the supplements that I recommend to my clients. I recommend Sweet's Syrup for the antioxidant boost it provides and the simplicity of its ingredients. I use it with my own family, and recommend it without reservations to my friends and clients. Anyone looking to boost their immune system will want to try Sweet's Syrup!

As a medical doctor, I love Sweet's Syrup for daily immune support. My kids love it, which helps, and I have to hide it since it tastes so yummy and they just want to pretend to be sick to drink it. Better yet though, it has studied medicinal properties that are well summarized on the University of Maryland link http://umm.edu/health/medical/altmed/herb/elderberry We have used various forms of the elderberry syrup but I really prefer the taste of the Sweet's syrups and am convinced that local raw honey has added benefits, including seasonal allergies. I highly recommend this product because it is also made with love and the desire to improve the health of those who use it. I've tried many of the elderberry products out there and this is, by far, the best ever! Sweet's uses a combination of top ingredients for immunity, which I like, and the ingredients are very high quality. There is no added sugar, artificial flavor or fillers like some of the other syrups. Plus Sweet's tastes amazing! I can tell a huge difference when I use this product.

your questions answered
HOW MUCH AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TAKE SWEET'S SYRUP?
An adult serving is 1 tablespoon per day, while a child’s serving is 1 teaspoon per day. You can use Sweet’s year-round as an immune booster. If you suffer from seasonal allergies, we recommend building your resistance by taking a daily serving a full month before as well as throughout your trigger season.
I DON’T LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA. WILL SWEET'S SYRUP STILL BENEFIT ME?
Sweet's Syrup can help boost your immune system, wherever you live. However, if you are looking for seasonal allergy support, it's best to use a syrup with honey from your region. Our honey contains pollen from foliage common to the Southeastern U.S., helping to build immunity to those specific allergens.
HELP! WE HAVE PICKY EATERS.
From the start, we discourage referring to Sweet’s as medicine of any sort. Give it a fun name: magic syrup, num-num, honey juice, or just Sweet’s Syrup! One family named it “the good stuff.” For toddlers, try a medicine syringe, which fits nicely into the pint-sized Sweet’s bottle. For older children, make Sweet’s special by using a fun shot glass. Sweet’s is also delicious swirled into yogurt, oatmeal, and smoothies. It also pairs nicely with whiskey, for picky eaters of the adult variety.
AT WHAT AGE CAN I START GIVING MY LITTLE ONE SWEET'S SYRUP?
Children over one year of age can safely consume unpasteurized honey. Please ask your pediatrician.
IS SWEET'S SYRUP SAFE FOR ME?
Sweet's contains unpasteurized honey, which can be risky for certain individuals. Please consult your doctor before consuming Sweet's if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a specific condition such as auto-immune disease.
HOW LONG WILL SWEET'S SYRUP LAST?
Sweet's Syrup must be refrigerated. Each bottle has a sell-by date on the bottom. Once a bottle is opened, we recommend consuming within 3 months. Unopened bottles are good for 6 months from production date.
